SADLY, ON JULY 3, WE LOST A WELL LOVED AND RESPECTED MEMBER OF OUR BROTHERHOOD OF FIRE FIGHTERS CAPTAIN GREG NAUGLER Our sincerest heartfelt sympathies are passed along to his family.

Greg has been Captain of Truck 1. Greg's father was a founding member of the department, and his entire family has participated in the department. Greg was the captain responsible for SCBA among many other things.
Currently his daughter Stephanie and son Patrick are active members, son Davin was a member before moving away. Sydney helps out in the canteen, and wife Joanne is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. ___________________________________________________ The Oakhill and District Fire Department responds to emergency calls, including fires, life-threatening medical emergencies, rescues and others. Many members are certified Medical First Responders
Whether it’s during a December snowstorm or the heat of summer afternoon, the Oakhill Fire Department has answered your call for help – quickly, professionally We are always ready to accept new members. Your age or your abilities are not a factor. All training is free. If you are not sure fire fighting is right for you, come along to a Tuesday night practices at 7 p.m. Your hands will get dirty, you’ll sweat some too, and you’ll become part of an organization of men and women who share one thing in common – We are fortunate to have an active Ladies Auxiliary and several junior members. If you are between 11 and 15, male or female, you qualify to be a Junior member.
