The Oakhill and District Fire Department has served the communities of Oakhill, Whynott's Settlement and Pine Grove since 1974.

We respond to emergency calls, including fires, life-threatening medical emergencies, rescues and others. Many members are certified Medical First Responders

We are always ready to accept new members.  Your age or your abilities are not a factor.  All training is free.  If you are not sure fire fighting is right for you, come along to a few Tuesday night practices at 7 p.m. 

We are fortunate to have an active Ladies Auxiliary and  several junior members.  If you are between 11 and 15, male or female, you qualify to be a Junior member.
