Oakhill Fire 50/50 Lotto Rules
Anyone wishing to become a participant of
the Oakhill Fire lottery will need to pay an admission fee of $3.00 (non-reimbursable). Once this fee of $3.00 is paid
the participant will be included as a participant of the Oakhill Fire lottery. This participation will cease automatically
under any of the following conditions:

Death of the participant (automatic exclusion from
the lottery)
·
Any participant who has not been active for a period
of 12 consecutive months. If this should happen, a $3.00 admission fee will be required for re-entry into the draw.
Details:
· There will be one draw once a week.
· The
draw will occur every Sunday @ 2 PM at the Oakhill & District Fire Station. If there is a requirement to move this
draw date/time due to weather conditions or a local emergency it will be held at the same time the next following possible
day.

Any lottery participant may assist with the drawing
if they so choose.
·
In order to be included in the weekly draw a participant
must have paid the minimum amount of $2.00 for that week.
· The
amount of $2.00 will have to be paid by each participant no later than Sunday @ 12 AM which is 2 hours before the draw.
· If the winning ballot of a draw belongs to a participant that has not paid their weekly
$2.00, the amount will then be added to the next weekly draw.
· The
amount to be won each week will be equal to half of the sum raised for that same week.
· Name and number of winner (or non-winner) will be distributed via e-mail to all active lottery participants
and will be posted to a variety of online venues (web page, facebook, etc).
· Only the official Oakhill & District Fire Department dated receipt will be accepted as proof of account
paid, if an error was to happen.
·
Participants that voluntarily ask to be excluded
from the lottery will have to pay the admission fee of $3.00 should they wish to rejoin in the future.
· Active members of the Oakhill & District Fire Department are not eligible to participate in the lottery.
Family members however are permitted.
·
Payment method is to be cash or cheque made out
to ‘Oakhill & District Fire Department’.
